Description :

This pleasant shaded stroll on the banks of Lake Geneva allows you to easily reach from the campsite to the municipal beach, the marina and the town center of Thonon-les-Bains located 3 km away. Many small beaches (including a naturist beach) are present throughout the route.
Take the opportunity to visit the Château de Ripaille and its estate.

Access from the campsite :

Direct access: the path begins opposite the campsite entrance at the Châtaigneraie park and Saint-Disdille beach.

This path is not passable by bike or with a stroller due to the numerous roots and some small steps along the lake.

Detailed description

This walk can easily be done in both directions.
Start either at the Châtaigneraie park, opposite the campsite entrance, then walk along the lake and its small beaches. Shaded route accessible only on foot.
Or, start with Avenue de Saint-Disdille (to the left of the campsite entrance), following the ramparts of the Ripaille estate. Very little shade, accessible by stroller and bicycle.
In both cases, allow around 45 minutes to reach the municipal beach of Thonon and a bit more than one hour for the marina and the town center of Thonon-les-Bains.
